With more than 23 years of experience advocating for children with special needs, Cheryl A. Martinez has helped countless families navigate the complexities of the special education system.

Cheryl works closely with parents to help them better understand their rights under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and New Jersey Administrative Code N.J.A.C. 6A:14, while providing guidance and support throughout the advocacy process.

She frequently attends IEP meetings, Child Study Team meetings, mediations, resolution meetings, and settlement conferences, helping parents effectively advocate for their child’s educational needs.

Cheryl’s approach combines knowledge, experience, and compassion, recognizing that navigating the special education system can often feel overwhelming for families.

Her commitment is to help parents feel informed, supported, and confident while advocating for their children.
